A renal artery aneurysm incidentally found at operation. Should it be resected?

A rare case of a ­patient with a rup­tured abdom­i­nal aor­tic aneu­rysm (AAA) and an inci­den­tal­ly found left renal ­artery aneu­rysm (RAA) is pre­sent­ed. Suc­cess­ful ­repair of both aneu­rysms was simul­ta­ne­ous­ly per­formed. The indi­ca­tions for such a sur­gi­cal ­approach are also dis­cussed.
