Attitudes of Saudi society toward teaching physical education to female students

BACKGROUND: The purpose of the study was to identify the attitudes of Saudi society toward teaching physical education (PE) classes for Saudi women in the public schools.
METHODS: Participants of this study were 1149 participants who randomly selected from all Saudi regions. Online Questionnaire strategy have used to examine the participants attitudes between the years of 2013 to 2017.
RESULTS: The results of this study indicated positive attitudes of Saudi society towards teaching PE for females’ students.
CONCLUSIONS: The author of this study recommends increasing the Saudi females’ interests to participate in sports and PE, preparation PE classes for Saudi females in proportion to the characteristics of the Saudi society, improving the awareness of Saudi society through the educational specialists and media on the importance of PE for both Saudi males and females.
