In many countries cesarean sections are increased for many scientific and economics reasons. Particularly in Italy and especially in Campania we have assisted to a very elevated cesarean rate during last 20 years, especially in the private structures. It results that young nulliparas, well health state, without important risk factors connected to the pregnancy have higher risk to be operated especially in private structures. Foreigner nationality, high scolarity, young age of the patient seem to be protective factors against the surgical delivery.
