To date, there are few cases of abdominal imaging of Yersinia enterocolitis infection. We describe the case of a 29 y man with fever, diarrhea and abdominal pain during the preceding ten days. The patient underwent abdominal ultrasonography, conventional radiography and abdominal CT that highlighted multiple mesenteric adenopathies that could orient for lymphoproliferative disease, Crohn’s disease or a severe appendicitis. Inflammatory laboratory parameters were elevated. He underwent an abdominal biopsy of a mesenteric node in right iliac region; the pathologist diagnosed Yersinia enterocolitis infection.
