The gangrenous pyoderma is a rare illness. Its diagnosis is hard to establish. The case here exposed presents a clinical manifestation of gangrenous pyoderma similar to a bullous erysipelas. The diagnosis of gangrenous pyoderma was established by excluding those illnesses that also present skin ulcer. A corticosteroid based systemic therapy was started and it proved successful.
