Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis is one of the rare causes of chronic pulmonary disease in children, and characterized by the fibrosis of the interstitium of the lungs of an unknown etiology. When idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis occurs in two or more members of a family, it is called as “Familial idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis”. We present two siblings with interstitial pulmonary disease, who were diagnosed as familial idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis in Dr Behcet Uz Children’s Hospital, Izmir, Turkey.
