A case of solitary dermal cylindroma of the scalp is reported. The patient presented for a consultation due to recent inflammation and increase in size of a preexisting tumefaction. Microscopy verified the cylindroma diagnosis and the absence of malignant transformation. Paraclinical investigations revealed no significant findings. Relapse did not occur during an 18 months follow-up after exeresis. The clinical and laboratory features of our case are discussed in association with the corresponding literature data.
