Lilakos K., Kanta A., Meleti E., Meletis J., Konstanto-poulos K.
1st Department of Internal Medicine, University of Athens School of Medicine, “Laikon” Hospital, Athens, Greece
We report a case of a Greek lady who presented with a facial erythema compatible with acne rosacea, treated with local medications. Following molecular confirmation of a co-incidental diagnosis of Familial Mediterranean Fever she commenced treatment by colchicin orally, with a notable effect on rosacea as well. The combination of these two entities is discussed.
