Magnetoencephalography measurements and external magnetic field have been used in the differential diagnosis and management of gynaecological and neurological entities. Exogenous magnetic stimulation and superconducting quantum interference device findings have been applied in the treatment of an alopecia universalis case (in comparison with 3 other control cases). An important hair regrowth appeared progressively from the 2nd week till the 15th month of the therapeutic protocol. The indubitable superiority (comparatively to the control group) was noted. The blockage mechanisms of alopecia areata pathogenetic processes by exogenous magnetic field, have to be more searched in the future.
