The authors report a case of centrocytic and centroblastic lymphoma with low malignity and a primary and exclusive localisation in a 43 years-old woman. The centrocytic and centroblastic lymphoma is the most frequent variety of non-Hodgkin lymphoma and represents a lymphoproliferative pathology affecting lymphatic structures: lymph nodes, spleen and bone marrow. Cases with an extranodal localisation are not infrequently documented. Histological analysis reveals the structure of the neoplasm in follicular-like nodular formations represented by a dual cell population identifiable in small-sized cell elements (centrocytes) coexisting with voluminous, rounded cells with chromatin positioned behind the nuclear membrane and with a pronounced nucleolus (centroblasts).
