Mirizzi syndrome type II

The Mirizzi syndrome type II is rare. The pre-operative diagnosis is emphasized and safe and effective procedure illustrated. Ultrasound and Ercp allowed the correct preoperative diagnosis of Mirizzi’s syndrome. Partial cholecystectomy, stone extraction and choledochoplasty with gallbladder remnant were performed by open surgery, so that a safe and effective result was achieved.
