Metabolic acidosis and ischemic heart disease. A case report

In the last years, particular attention has been paid to coronary artery disease in women. A case of anxiety that has masked postinfarction angina and metabolic acidosis is described. Causative and physiophatological mechanisms related with this clinical picture, are discussed. The importance of a correct approach to atypical symptoms of coronary artery disease in women and the therapeutic interactions with other diseases treatment are emphasised.
