Malignant mesothelioma of the tunica vaginalis testis. An epidemiological study in the last few years

Updating of mesothelioma cases of tunica vaginalis testis: from 1990 to 1997 at least 46 cases of this illness have been described; these have to be summed up to the other 45 cases previously reported in the period 1941-1989.
Therefore, there is a remarkable increase of this case series. The pathogenesis of asbestos mesothelioma for this localization is briefly discussed.
