S.I.M.F.E.R. (Italian Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation)
These guidelines, produced by the Italian Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (SIMFER), have been accepted by the Italian Government. In May 1998, they have been published in the ''Gazzetta Ufficiale della Repubblica Italiana'', the Official Journal where all Italian laws are published. We decided to start this new section of the Journal devoted to Guidelines in Rehabilitation with this official document whose interest outside Italian boundaries has many times been attested, allowing the entire scientific community to examine it in detail.
