Three indirectly consanguineous patients presented at our Institute each with a depression of around 2 cm in diameter on the upper outer quadrant of the buttock, with atrophy of the hypodermic adipose tissue. The lesion had the clinical form of permanent fovea and was not associated with other cutaneous or systemic abnormalities. The clinical case appears unusual for the echotomographic features and the means of transmission.
