PDF

Three young boys affected by juvenile spring eruption of the ears are described. This entity is an unusual photodermatosis that is characterized by the onset in early spring of papules and/or vesicles on the light exposed areas of the helix of young males. For its development it needs two factors: light exposure and chilling. The etiology remains obscure. Many authors think that this disease is a localized form of polymorphic light eruption.
