We report the case of a 49-year-old woman with right ventricular liposarcoma. Tumor infiltrating right ventricular wall was excised and extracellular matrix was used to reconstruct the right ventricle free wall and damaged leaflets of the tricuspid valve. Six-month follow-up with cardiovascular magnetic resonance imagining showed competent tricuspid valve and no contractility defect in the right ventricular wall. This might suggest that the conversion of extracellular matrix into right ventricular myocardium is possible in humans.
