Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, GVM Hospital for Care and Research, Villa Maria Cecilia, Cotignola, Ravenna, Italy
Saphenous vein graft pseudo-aneurysm after coronary bypass grafting occurs rarely. Reoperation could be challenging in particular when the pseudo-aneurysm of the proximal vein graft anastomosis happens in patients who had combined replacement of the ascending aorta. We report a case of a patient with a pseudo-aneurysm of the proximal vein graft anastomosis from a modify bentall conduit implanted eight years before treated successfully by a hybrid approach.
