Staphylococcus aureus endocarditis with pulmonary abscess and subsequent sepsis 15 years after a Ross procedure

We report the case of a 23-year-old male patient with a Staphylococcus aureus endocarditis of a pulmonary homograft valve 15 years after a Ross procedure. A new homograft was implanted at the site of the pulmonary valve. Before and after surgery antibiotics were performed.
