Piccagliani L., Cerri P., Mauro A.
Clinica Chirurgica II, Dipartimento ad Attività Integrata di Chirurgia Generale e Specialità Chirurgiche Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia, Modena, Italia
The aim of this study was to estimate, by a retrospective analysis, the patients treated for inguinal hernia with the “tension free” technique, through a follow-up comprised between five and ten years. The appraisal criteria have taken in consideration the recidivism, the intra- and postoperative complications, the postoperative pain, the quality of life and the patients’ degree of satisfaction.
