Sporadic neurofibroma of the male breast. Case report

Neurofibromas are tumors arising from elements in the peripheral nervous system. The observation of these neurofibromas in the breast is very rare. A case of breast neurofibroma occurred in a 49 years old man, who did not suffer from von Recklingausen's disease, is reported. The clinical and therapeutical aspects are discussed on the basis of personal observation and literature data.
