Recurrent groin hernia after prosthesis implant

Four cases of recurrent groin hernia, treated by plug implantation during a period of 13 years are reported. The causes of recurrence after prosthesis implantation and the most common complications are described and analyzed. Some technical defects or inappropriate technique could be the cause of recurrence.
