Extrapelvic endometriosis. Report of 2 cases

Endometriosis is an enigmatic disease which may present a huge variety of clinical pictures. However, gastrointestinal and skin involvements are not frequent. Two cases of endometriosis are described. These cases outline the variety of clinical behaviour of the disease: a patient with obstructive colorectal endometriosis underwent a bowel resection with good results, and another patient submitted to laparoscopic appendicectomy 4 years before, is presenting umbilical endometriosis.
