Post-traumatic diaphragmatic hernia. Clinical case
Molizzi T. C., Miceli F., Folino G., Daffinà R., Rubino P., Miceli R.
A case of post-traumatic diaphragmatic hernia is described, diagnosed about six months after an abdominal trauma due to a railway accident, in a patient presenting an aspecific symptomatology characterized by recurrent epigastralgia that solved spontaneously after some hours. The surgical treatment, with a laparoscopic approach was usuful in better defining the diagnosis, and the diaphragmatic hernioplasty led to the total recovery of the patient.
