About semantics, in tendinous surgery

The author gives details about use of tendon surgery’s terms. Particularly he treats definition of diverse tendon transfer compared to that of tendon transplantation. Furthermore author reports tendon transfer functional difference about neurologic pathology. Finally he relates Pisani’s proposal to define tendon transfer in neurologic pathology: substitutive or integrative or reductive, according to functional purpose.
