The Authors bring back the review of Literature about surgical treatment for correction of dynamic clawtoes deformities, by FLD and FBD transfer for the lesser toes. From the carried out search, it turns out that the first surgical description about FLD transfer dates back to 1967 in a Malcolm A. Brahms “Common foot problems”, and the first about FBD transfer dates to 1993 in first edition of G. Pisani treatise “Trattato di Chirurgia del Piede”. Into the paper comes also commented the meaning functional of the FBD transfer beside FLD transfer.
