Hereditary sensory neuropathies are a group of nervous diseases in which degeneration affects the peripheral axons and their origin cells causing trophic disorders (osseous and cutis lesions) and neurological disorders (alterations of sensibility) that result in ulcero-mutilating acropathy of extremities.
