Percutaneous tenorrhaphy in acute lesions of the Achilles tendon

Centaro G., Zandrino F., Anselmi P.

PDF

Personal experience of percutaneous tenorrhaphy using Tenolig® in the treatment of acute lesions of the Achilles tendon is reported. Of 26 cases operated on from 2000 to 2003, 19 were followed up. It was possible to appreciate the effectiveness and reliability of the technique which has always led to a good cure and recovery of working and sporting activity in very short times. The technique is simple, easy to carry out and did not create any major complications
