Club foot in genetic syndromes with skeletal dysmorphisms
Canepa G., Franchin F., Stella M.
Congenital club foot is encoutered as a frequent or occasional symptom in more than 19% of dysmorphic syndromes. It does not differ in terms of pathogenesis, clinical appearance or treatment from isolated congenital club foot but it is important to recognise it because of the diversity of the risk of recurrence in siblings and offspring and for the anomalies in other organs and apparatus that may accompany it.
