Clear cell carcinoma not otherwise specified (CCC-NOS) is a rare entity, mainly occurring in the minor salivary glands. It is classically considered to be of low-grade malignant potential, although the biological course of this disease has not been well characterized yet, due to the low number of cases reported, usually with very short follow-up. We reported on the case of a patient affected by CCC-NOS of the body of the tongue who underwent conservative surgery and who is free from relapse at 6 year follow-up.
