Fat grafting is popular in reconstructive surgery as a primary procedure and as an adjunct to other procedures. Grafted fat is autologous and completely biocompatible, readily available, inexpensive, naturally integrated into the host tissues, can be harvested easily and repeatedly. The authors present the case of a female patient who underwent lipostructure, after orthognathic surgery. Lipostructuring was performed in accordance with the technique proposed by Coleman, during which the fat harvested from the periumbilical area, abdomen, buttocks, and lateral thighs. Recently lipofilling’s indications have extended to larger deficiencies and for the correction of facial asymmetries.
