Adult rhabdomyoma of the submandibular area: literature review and a report of a new case

Rhabdomyomas are benign tumours of striated muscle tissue. The paper presents a case of rhabdomyoma of the submandibular region. Clinical and histological features are discussed as well as differential diagnosis and proper treatment. Finally, all previous reports of adult rhabdomyoma cases are also reviewed.
