Endoscopic assisted treatment of condylar fractures

The endoscopic assisted approach for the treatment of condylar fractures is a slight invasive alternative. This method can be applied to repair mandibular condylar neck displaced fracture of the adult. The use of an endoscope allows a better visibility in an area of limited, and also facial nerve injury and visible scars are avoided by using the transoral approach. This article critically evaluates the indication for endoscopically assisted approach and describes the technique to repair the condylar fractures.
