The authors report their experience about 8 cases of single metastatic lesion to the cervical region, starting from distant sites, retrospectively selected from a group of 29 patients affected by cervicofacial metastases identified among those attending the Surgical Department of the Galliera Hospital of Genoa (Italy) from 2004 to 2008. The clinical exposition of cases is followed by a discussion about diagnostic, clinical and therapeutic approach, in particular surgical management and by a brief review of cases reported in literature.
