The purpose of this work is to evaluate the impacted of the mandibular 2nd molar and how it is possible to recuperate it in the dental arch. We consider the epidemiology, the etiology causes, and the differents orthodontic and surgery techniques. The Authors agree that it is not correct to apply only one therapeutic approach to this condition, but every case must be evaluated on its own to choose the right method to work. We present two clinical cases: the first solved by orthodontic and surgery techniques, and the second solved by orthodontic techniques.
