Resection of a giant left main stem coronary artery aneurysm

A 2 cm in diam­e­ter aneu­rysm of ­the ­left ­main ­stem ­was diag­nosed in 1979. The aneu­rysm ­increased to 10 cm in diam­e­ter dur­ing 20 ­years. It ­was resect­ed ­and suc­cess­ful ­bypass sur­gery ­was per­formed. No pre­vi­ous ­report ­was ­found of a ­giant ­true aneu­rysm involv­ing ­the ­left ­main ­stem.
