This article presents the case of a patient, visited in December 2009, affected by a large full-thickness chronic skin ulcer in the left lower limb dated 1999. The patient was treated with appropriate surgical procedures in our ambulatory and advanced medications were used, according to the clinical evolution of the ulcer. The actual and sometimes amazing clinical results obtained by us, as the healing with a complete re-epithelialization after less than a year, led us to consider the systematic application of these methods appropriated to the treatment of serious skin lesions.
