The organs of the wound care net of Marches, which operate since 2009, are composed by: The Work Group constitution. In 2009, the major wound experts among the different specialist branches have been gathered to institute a regional work group with the aim of outlining the specific treatment for each typology of ulcer, on the basis of both the international guidelines and the experts’ knowledge. Each of the thirteen area managers of ASUR Marches has the job of naming a wound care expert for his own area. The wound care group will be constantly interfacing with both the rest of the Italian wound care groups and the main national associations of the wound sector. The permanent regional observatory for the appropriateness. The permanent regional observatory for the appropriateness is constituted by wound specialists, general pratictioners, district doctors and managing experts of the university, hospital and local corporations of the region Marches. The observatory has the aim of managing the implementation of the different profiles of the ulcer care, which have been set down by the Work Group through the adoption of the Corporation Care Profiles. The group has also the duty of promoting the regional diffusion of the Care Profiles and coordinating the transformation from the Corporate Care Profiles to the Regional Care Profiles. Meeting between hospital specialists and Area Assistance. There will be meetings between Hospital and Area Specialists in order to define common diagnostic-therapeutic protocols, which will be also supported by the Evidence Based Medicine, literature data and experts’ experience in according to the needs and previous experiences of the area assistance. Meeting between the Work Group, the Corpora-tion and the Region Marches. The result of the Work Group study will be gathered and thereafter elaborated in order to become the Corporate Care Profiles and ultimately the Regional Care Profiles.
