Managerial analysis and cost profit comparison in the treatment of pressure sores

This work lists the main guidelines produced and describes the new advanced surfaces available today for pressure sores prevention and treatment including the Perugia hospital patient management method. The method for the calculation of the Theoretical Marginal Advantage and its application in a cost-profit study are also described. It is argued that there exists a positive relationship among use of specialized equipment and economic profit and that the marginal advantage may have been obtained from other health firms with sustainable economic investment.
