PDF

We report the case of a young, 30 years old woman, with one small medium secreting wound to the left heel, 1.5 cm deep and 1 cm wide. The lesion was surrounded by a 1.5 cm high hard and dehydrated callus, preventing it to recover and giving to the patient a continuous pain. This case is not probably extraordinary, but our objective was to tell the history of this girl, since it is the history of many patients bearers of lesions that carry upon their own shoulders a living status of disease and chronic pain that often in under evaluated. What make it suprinsing is that 2 nurses, reasoning, listening, without giving null for discounted have succeeded in solving a problem preventing a devastating surgery treatment that they would have created big problems in the gait of this young woman.
