A smartphone application for clinical research on wound healing
François-André ALLAERT ✉
ESC University Dijon & Cen Biotech, Dijon, France
The development of applications available on smartphones opens up new possibilities for clinical trials and observational studies. Nurstrial® provides a tool for monitoring the evolution of wounds in an incomparable manner to what existed until now and opens the way for research involving nurses more closely in the evaluation of the specific acts they perform in conjunction with medical practitioners. Nurstrial® paves the way for closer collaboration between phlebologists and nurses not only in the field of clinical research, but also in daily care.
