Malignant tumors of the sinonasal tract are rare, accounting for only 1% of all malignancies. Surgery plays a key role in their management, however they carriage significant problems of management due their late presentation and juxtaposition to critical anatomical structures. The surgical approach should be optimized preoperatively to ensure the safest endonasal and endocranial route to assessed all tumor margins. Thanks to the technical and technological innovations the application of endonasal endoscopic techniques offers potentially similar or better scales of resection but with reduced morbidity. This review addresses the preoperative management, endoscopic approaches and outcomes of tumors of the sinonasal cavity and skull base.
