The Authors report the most recent acquirements about equilibrium disorders in Multiple Sclerosis, explaining the physiopathological mechanisms inducing them and their most frequent symptoms. The otoneurological signs and the diagnostic methods useful to assess the existence of a correlation between equilibrium disorders and demyelinating diseases before the imaging investigations are also discussed. At last it reports the importance of specific otoneurological examinations in the evaluation of the Multiple Sclerosis progression.
