With modern therapeutic modalities a significant number of cancer patients can expect durable remission. However, the worst expected complication after successful treatment of cancer is the occurrence of 2nd cancer which may either be therapy induced or because of the presence of pre-existing predisposing factors like smoking and genetic mutations. We hereby report 2 cases of 2nd primary cancers. First case had 2nd primary anal canal cancer, 5 years after successful treatment of nasal cavity cancer. Second case was diagnosed as carcinoma of posterior pharyngeal wall 7 years after anal canal cancer. Coincidentally both the patients had carcinoma of anal canal, either primary or secondary. Denominator is squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). This rare presentation has not been reported in the past to the best of our knowledge.
