Primary malignant neoplasms of parapharyngeal space are uncommon. The majority of parapharyngeal space tumors are benign.
Neurogenic tumors are the second commonest tumors of the parapharyngeal space but malignant nerve sheath tumors are extremely rare.
We present here a case of “Malignant nerve sheath tumor of the parapharyngeal space” as a rare entity. Our patient was successfully treated by excision of the tumor by the transcervical submandibular approach followed by postoperative radiotherapy.
