Hearing impairment and its prosthetic treatment (in the formerly USSL 19 and 20 area).

Methods. The activity carried out for the rehabilitation in the prosthetic field, for a period of eight years, in two USSL of the Campania Region is presented. The large number of people with prostheasis and their systematical chekups were basic elements for a more precise study thant those previously carried out.
Results and conclusions. It should be noted that the technological evolution is essential for patients who now demand a better medical treatment.
