Seven cases of perioral dermatitis in female patients, aged 26-44 years old, are reported. The patients used for a long time a cream containing furalglucitole and 18-b-glycyrrhetic acid for the treatment of seborrheic or atopic dermatitis of the face. Possible benefits and side effects of cosmetics containing antinflammatory ingredients are discussed.
