DESCRIPTION

To enable motor-disabled people to practice boxing, a commission of professionals has been set up and the ethical, medical, technical and classification problems have been evaluated for the launch of an experimehntal phase lasting 5 years, where the athletes will be closely followed and monitored. A Technical Rules and a Classification Manual have beed drawn up. The pre-boxing phase would allow you to reach a good level of psycho-physical well-being and, subsequently, to practice light contact boxing. Prototypes of platforms for a sitting ring were prepared for technicians, referees, classifiers and physicians, with final assessments for the various qualifications, as well as guidelines necessary for disabled people to practice boxing in safety.
