The treatment of infrainguinal arterial disease has changed significantly in the last 20 years, with the introduction of many new devices and therapies. In this article we will discuss the current approach to SFA reconstruction, including identification of the extent of disease with imaging, and an algorithm to treat disease using both open and endovascular approaches.
