Although car­pal tun­nel syn­drome (­CTS) is a com­mon entrap­ment neu­rop­a­thy, ­reflex sym­pa­thet­ic dys­tro­phy is an extreme­ly ­rare ­and dev­as­tat­ing com­pli­ca­tion. In ­this ­report, a ­case of chem­i­cal sym­pa­thec­to­my in a ­patient ­who ­had under­gone pre­vi­ous ­three sur­gi­cal inter­ven­tions else­where ­for uni­lat­er­al ­CTS, ­with per­sis­tent sym­pa­thet­ic ­pain.
